What is Brand Identity

A brand is on its own at its core a personality. The products, services or experiences your business promises should be presented in a manner that resonates with your audience and elicits the right emotional response. When the marketing campaign or your graphic designs accomplish this, you have a winning design. A superior design can only magnify, enhance and communicate the right message about the business and its goal.

In defining a brand, it broadly refers to a product that goes by a certain name that we can associate with a business. However, in a society such as ours, where consumers are attracted to brands just like we are to people, a brand is one that evokes an emotional response and hence we are attracted to those products that match our self-image.

  • A brand – the picture or the name suggests the product and what we will receive if we choose to purchase it. For instance, a FedEx truck rolls by and we know that it is transporting and delivering packages. Hence, if we need to send a package we could think of using their services.

  • Our society relies heavily on first impressions and hence a well-designed logo or brand can create the right vibes in the minds of the consumers.
